THE BAR

Ok again I dont usually like to use my blog for promoting products but this one I have really come to love. Its called The Bar.. Or Google Bar if you have heard of it. Let me explain the reasoning behind this.

Very large companies spend billions every year in marketing their brands, products and services. Companies such as Google, The Bar, Yuwie, and others have made a great thing by offering the consumers a way to earn some of this marketing pie. THERE IS A LOT TO GO AROUND! Trust me. So to get more customers to view their ads they set up items such as The Bar or Yuwie to get people to use them so they can view their ads. For this you get a piece of the pie.

Ad these things in our downline builder and participate in them when you have time and the money will definately add up. Use this money as you see fit. Its a good way to raise money for your advertising efforts for your current business.

Monday Plan

Make sure not to get stuck into the Monday time consuming ruts. What helps is if you make a plan for Monday and then stick to the plan. Make it productive as others are doing the same. One thing that is good to do first is review your online ads make sure they are running. Also look at your competitions ads to see if they are the same as yours. If they are you need to rewrite and repost make it look original. Next thing is read and follow up on any emails. This is also a good day to do research and implement any new ideas you come across. Take a look at your Sales and Marketing plan. See if your on track. If you dont have a sales and marketing plan you better make one. They are a great tool to keep your business building on track.

When you make your sales and marketing plan make sure to keep it on top of your desk. Or a file that you look at constantly. DO NOT PUT IT IN A FILE DRAWER AND NEVER PULL IT OUT. If you do this you are more likely not to look at it. You should look at your marketing plan at least once every two weeks to make sure you are on track of goals and projects.

Another great task to do on Monday is drop some lines in your network funnel on Facebook, Twitter, Myspace or any other Social Networking site you belong to. If you dont do Social Networking then you could be missing out on alot of revenue!

Traffic Generating Websites

I have noticed a lot of business's using Traffic Generating websites such as auto surfs and manual surfs. They have a small place in marketing so please don't waste your time on them. You will get very little if any leads out of them. Also if your site has Google Adsense you run the very high risk of having your Adsense account revoked! FOREVER!

If you are wanting great ways to generate traffic to your site, then you need to study and research the new training that has been coming out the last year or so. Marketing is always going to be changing due to consumer spending habits, life changes, and technology.

There are some free training videos and courses to purchase from the Masters of MLM. Feel free to check them out.

Ways to Increase your Retail Sales

This blog was created to help you increase your retail sales by sparking up your creativity. We all get stuck in a rut when sales drop. We start thinking there is no way to increase sales but this is where you are wrong. There are plenty of old ways to give your sales a boost in the arm.

Step 1: Getting to know your Customer- Make sure that you or your Manager are visible to your customers now more then ever. Its very important to find out what your customers are spending their money on. Pass out a survey to see where your customers are spending and on what. This will help you in the long run to better serve your customers and will give you a piece of mind that your being proactive.

Step2:
Overhaul Your Inventory: Right now in a bad economy your inventory is the major cost factor in your business. You are probably asking why? Well if your in the retail business your cost of goods can tie up your money or can make you money. You need to evaluate your inventory on a weekly basis during these economic times. During a normal economic time you would do this monthly or even quarterly. Weekly is a must do right now. You need to ask yourself if you are buying too much of a certain item and not enough of a different item. What is selling? What is not selling? Do you need to move something that is selling in other parts of the country to a different place of the store? Are your customers finding what they need right away?

These major questions are critical to your business right now. Make sure you are keeping up with this with out fail. Its very important.

Step 3 Boost your E- Commerce Marketing - Its very necessary that your business is online in some way, shape or form. We are going to assume it is. If its not then you need to hire yourself a marketing consultant such as myself or look in your yellow pages. Almost every business now a days needs to have some sort of online presence and need to have it be found at least by an online directory.

1.
Make sure all of your contact information, hours etc are correct everywhere your business is advertise. Google your business to find out where you are being listed at.
2. Start an online newsletter to make sure your current customers are up to date about your business and promotions that are yet to be announced.
3. Make a email list of your current customers. If you already have one then start sending out weekly emails that promote certain items. Let them know what your carrying and what is sales are underway.
4. If you have a website make sure its easy for people to maneuver around it. Make sure you have a contact us page so people that aren't familiar with online buying or your website can still contact you to purchase something they seen on your site.
5. Spend a little money on GEO Targeting for your business. Get your name out to the millions. Let me tell you that there are more people sitting in front of their computers now a days on Facebook, Myspace etc then there were last year due to unemployment. Get your business in front of them now. They are still purchasing for special events, and wont be unemployed long.

Major thing to keep boosting your retail sales is that you don't want to get stagnant and you don't want to find your self in a slump along with your sales. If you get out there and work hard, and communicate with your customers and do some small changes and make sure you market your business responsibly you will see a increase in your sales instead of them falling.
