Incase some of you didnt hear all the hype about the new Star Trek movie, it was released over the weekend and did way over what was inticipated.
The filmakers thought that the opening weekend would only be $50 Million and with all the great reviews, and publicity the movie was getting before opening, it ended up doing a whopping $75 Million dollars.
Was this to great marketing or was it the brand? Star Trek? It was the brand and it just proves that its still number one with all the sci fi enthusiasts.
I cant wait to go and see this movie this week.
